We are friends and business partners! We began our Michigan Blooms journey in 2024 after working together as floral designers. We knew we wanted to offer something different to our clients - namely local flowers, outstanding customer service, and high-end products, all while using sustainable design methods. We love what we do & doing it together!

Our purpose is twofold. First, we want to preserve life’s most meaningful floral memories in a sustainable and lasting way. We transform wedding bouquets, memorial flowers, and other special blooms into heirloom-quality keepsakes. Second, we want to share our love for flowers and preserving them in an artful way through our curated floral workshops.

Amy is wife to Jeff, mom to 4 amazing adult children and Mimi to 2 grandchildren and lots of grand-kitties! Amy’s love for flower pressing began when she preserved her new daughter-in-law’s wedding bouquet. After that, she was asked by others to preserve theirs & her love for the craft grew. She loves cross-stitching, meeting new people, & working outside in her yard.

Ellen is wife to Ron, mom to 5 fabulous kids, and Nana to 1 granddaughter. Her love for floral design began as a little girl, adorning their kitchen table with flowers from their yard in tin cans! She is a master gardener and can be found most days working in her garden. She loves antiques, baking sour dough, and spending time with her family.

What makes us unique? (1) Our attention to detail sets us apart. We have a motto in our studio “Great minds overthink alike.” We work hard to deliver a premium product to you! (2) We are in a constant state of learning. From pressing techniques to refining our process, we love learning to get better at what we do. (3) We use UV protected acrylic in our heirloom pieces. This protects your blooms for years to come. (4) Our hardwood frames are Michigan-made and can’t be found anywhere else.
